How do I submit a claim for my doctor’s bills?
After visiting a GP
- if you see a GP from the HCF network, you’ll need to pay the GP's fees upfront after your visit but you can claim 100% back. Please email your doctors receipts to OVHC_Service@hcf.com.au or take it to one of our locations.
After treatment in hospital
- if you’ve chosen a doctor from the HCF medical gap network it’s easy, the bill(s) should come straight to us from the doctor, so you shouldn’t need to do anything
- If you’ve already paid your doctor’s bill or it’s sent to you, you’ll need to forward the bill to us.
To submit your claim, complete a HCF claim form. You can do this at your nearest HCF location.
Otherwise, please call our Overseas Visitors Helpline on 13 68 42 and we’ll assist you with accessing and completing the form. You can email your completed HCF claim form and your doctor’s bill/receipt to OVHC_Service@hcf.com.au or post to us.
