The History of the Church

The St. Augustine church was founded in 1895 by Arnold Anderson. Now over a hundred years later the church is still formed and continuing to grow. By welcome everyone with open arms to our church we have been able to build a wonderful community around the church. That was Anderson’s goal. He wanted to be able not only build a great church that’s dedicated to its people but also wanted to help build a whole community around the church.

Since the 1895 this church has been rebuild a total of five times. We have been able to now have a we maintained facility and are now able to house hundreds of people for the ceremony. With god’s grace we should be able to reach out to everyone in the county with our many events. We continue to provide entertainment with the church donation money.

Our church was build right here in the St. Augustine area.

What to wear when coming to church.

Many people have came to our church before wearing very inappropriate outfits. Although we do not require a suit and tie we do wish that all of members wear appropriate attire while attending our services.

Here is a short list of what not to wear:

  • Short shorts
  • Booty shorts
  • Clothing that shows too much cleavage
  • Clothing that doesn’t cover up enough body parts
  • Swimming outfits

We do not require you to wear anything over what you should expect but please come in you Sunday bests!
